Just finishing up our packing tonight. What a blessing to have Kendra be able to drive us out to Iowa City and be there to see us off. Grandma and Grandpa GG stopped by tonight to wish us well. Really feeling good about all the support we have gotten from family, church family, co-workers and friends. Maybe its true, bikes may actually be able to change the world.
My daughter and I rode a day in RAGBRAI today. We had a perfect day for riding. There are over 10,000 bike riders that ride in RAGBRAI each year. We had a fun day! I will be thinking about you this week as you ride. I'm sure you will have FUN!!
Paster Kent asked last Sunday how many pedal strokes it would take to ride 450 miles. I've done the math it it will be around 300,000. Thanks for the prayers. -Kathy
